17 Years of Connecting Singles Worldwide with Ambiance Matchmaking (2025)

We cannot believe this month marks the 17 year anniversary of Ambiance Matchmaking. We remember when it all started in our tiny Tulsa office with only two employees and a handful of members. Since then, we have evolved and expanded in many ways, but we are proud to have stayed true to our founding core value – to create a highly personal, hands-on matchmaking experience.

In order to stay true to this core value, we only accept a limited number of members per year. We focus on quality, not quantity. In 2018, we had a 27% acceptance rate.This is to ensure that we have the time and resources available to maximize the success of each clients search, and provide that highly personal, hands-on matchmaking experience that we are dedicated to.

While we limit our number of annual members, we expand our geographic reach. We now have locations in three countries and 11 cities. Our goal is to connect like-minded singles no matter their postal code. Our network combined with today’s technology makes that possible.

Many singles are beginning to think globally. For example, we have many international clients who travel frequently, are open to moving to another city or country, or live part-time in two different locations. They are open to meeting singles in other parts of the world if there’s a possibility of finding a lifetime partner. This also applies to our members with local memberships, and are open to their matches moving to their city to pursue a relationship.

We are continuously looking for ways to improve and innovate in our industry, and we have big plans in 2019. Here’s what to expect.

We are partnering with wedding planners and photographers in the US, Mexico, and London.

We help our members from the day they walk into our door to the day they walk down the aisle. We will soon be offering in-house wedding planning and photography services for our members planning to tie-the-knot. They will be located in Ambiance locations throughout the US, Mexico, and the UK. They are the best in their industry, so rest assured your wedding day will go perfectly as planned.
